Laser started from humbles beginnings with about 40 children a week for 3 weeks in the summer holidays. We now have over 300 children per week and its all due to the staff below....

Julian Tagg – Director and Owner

Julian Tagg

Director and Owner

Julian is one of Exeter’s more successful entrepreneurs. He was a PE lecturer at Exeter College until long term injury got the better of him. Julian now spends most of his waking hours at Exeter City.

He started Laser Summer Camp as an off-shoot from Laser Adventure, a company he started with good friend and associate Sean Moore. Dave Akers was also one of the original partners. Julian worked for many years at Camp Beaumont as a camp director and at an American Summer Camp as a camp counsellor and Football coach.

Since its early years, Julian has directed the Laser company skilfully to become one of the most successful camps of its kind in the country.

He is a fully qualified and practicing primary school teacher at Ellacombe Academy in Torquay. If there is something about Laser that Matt doesn't know then it isn't worth knowing! He has a passion for sport and specifically the Exeter Chiefs rugby team and Leicester City football club (he supported them before last seasons success!!) Matt is married to the lovely Georgie.
